Albania is annually one of the first nations to choose their Eurovision act and song, however often it is the case that the artist and team will go back to the drawing board to find a way to revamp the song, whether that’s a change from Albanian to English, or a language change PLUS a music revamp. This year, we know that Lindita will be representing Albania, and sure enough she decided to write English lyrics for her song ‘Böte’ which is now called World.
After months of waiting, the official song and video have now been released, and the biggest change to the song has been the language change. Other than that, the song is still in the essence of her Festivali I Këngës winning song, however you can listen to the song down below to make your own comparisons!
